This document describes the policy of the Bulgarian Platform – EWL in relation to the receipt and processing of information about users during their visit to the websites maintained by the Bulgarian Platform – EWL.

Information that the Bulgarian Platform – EWL receives for users on its website

The information we obtain about users of our website does not constitute personal data within the meaning of the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). This is because in the form in which it is processed with us, the data is depersonalised, in a segregated form and does not allow the identification of the user. The information is used for statistical purposes only, to measure activity and traffic on our website, and to improve user navigation.

In order to enable the normal and fast functioning of the website of the Bulgarian Platform – EWL, the technology of cookies is used. The information is stored on a secure encrypted server and is only accessible by an employee of Bulgarian Platform – EWL whose position and job responsibilities require knowledge of this information.
