Bulgarian Platform of the European Women’s lobby published “A Guide to Union of Equality: Gender Equality Strategy 2020-2025” The goal of the publication is to present the Gender Equality Strategy of the EU which is not well known to Bulgarian citizens and Bulgarian politicians alike.
We, the members of the Bulgarian Platform of the European Women’s Lobby, hope with this publication to provoke actions by the politicians in Bulgaria which will contribute to overcoming the inequalities between women and men in the country. Our goal is also to attract more like-minded people with whom to unite our efforts to combat together gender-based violence, to overcome gender-based stereotypes, to deal with the inequalities on the labour market, to overcome the differences in remunerations and pensions, to reach a balance regarding the leading role in all of society. In other words, to make Bulgaria a better place for living for both women and men.
Our “Guide to Union of Equality: Gender Equality Strategy 2020-2025” aims at creating a union of like-minded people who believe that gender equality will create a better world.
