“The murder provokes us to demand accountability from these MPs. Among the unaccepted texts is the creation of a register of perpetrators of domestic violence, a coordination mechanism for cooperation between various institutions and NGOs – noted to Radio Sofia Iliana Balabanova, chairwoman of BPEJL. – There are no crisis centers for survivors of violence in one third of Bulgaria’s territory, no programs have been adopted to overcome the aggressive behavior of perpetrators.”
